Find freedom

::: The I CHING weekly by Robert Kelin :::

“It is most important that you release the situations and people that have held you – and that you have held – in the bondage of old programs and patterns. This will you leave you feeling free, light of spirit; you will have released the doubt and fear that has kept you from what your heart desires and what you are here in the this life, at the moment in time, to complete. This will allow you to be loved without bonds or conditions; this is FREE love.

There is a great wave that contains all you need to move forward. Look and feel what this might be and what the symbolic notifications are that stand in front of you are at your side. It is this wave that fuels your intuition, that powerful mechanism that taps into the universal source of wisdom.

Didn’t you notice how the Universe sent you in the right direction, to the right place at the right time, almost as if you had no choice? Trust that this was your intuition operating at it’s finest vibration and highest frequency. This is an important part of the equation – trusting your intuition, which allows you to love without condition, and to let yourself be loved in that same light, with no confusion, angst or pain. Believe this; love without pain is possible and awaits you. Make the decision to embrace this love and it will be yours as you adhere to the instructions in the hexagram.
Feel the exhilaration of walking your path with dignity, compassion, kindness and integrity. In this way you are greasing the wheels of the inner vehicle that will take you smoothly toward a new birth, a new creative cycle, beginning with your intent.

At this time you will need no TRANSLATOR, SHRINK, SHAMAN, or PRIEST to tell you what is being said; rather, you will know it from your intuitive voice of inner wisdom, the voice that got you here, to stand at this place at this time, fully exposed and with no fear.

This is a rebirth and a new beginning. Close the old chapters and cut off the dead weight with a sharp, swift sword of compassion and light. Your releasing of the OLD will set you FREE from the bondage of control of that person or pattern.

Look to what or who you have been holding in bondage and release them. There will be great rewards as you make the commitment to leave these old, worn patterns behind. You will find new people, new endeavors, and will birth new ideas that have been in formation all the time you were in bondage.

Laugh, sign and be joyous and let yourself be found.

LOVE IS THE ANSWER.

Restorative yoga + Yoga nidra

✨::::: the ART of slow living :::: ✨✨
1 hour of restorative yoga + yoga nidra is the equivalent of a full nights sleep. 😴💤
Last Summer, I found myself completely and utterly exhausted.
As a yoga teacher, you would think if have my personal wellness plan figured out all the time. But, I’m human too, and fell into the trap of a Nantucket Summer.
Working too hard, playing too hard. I was “eating the right things”, and doing all the “right practices, but I wasn’t slowing down. I was exhausted and my adrenals gave the signal that it was time to down shift.
Dr. Claudia Welch has a great anecdote about this very thing. “When we’re hungry, we eat. When we’re thirsty, we drink. When we’re tired, we think … What’s wrong!”

That’s when I found the magical practice of restorative yoga with Local yoga teacher, Ieva Aldens. It was Heaven. Yoga nidra is a guided meditation that I feel is perfectly built for a culture that needs structure in order to feel at ease in slowing down. Nidra actually means sleep in Sanskrit. When following this meditation, it takes you past the dreaming state and into a state of conscious deep sleep, where healing of the nervous system, heart and mind take place. Because yoga nidra activates the Para Sympathetic Nervous System, it also has profound effects of supporting digestion and countering stress-induced insomnia. The best time to do this meditation is in the afternoon between lunch and dinner, but anytime you can make space for this practice the benefits will be well received.

I am teaching a yoga nidra + restorative yoga class tonight at 6PM at The Yoga Room.

See you there! Maybe.
