Why people practice yoga is unique in nature for everyone.
If you want to come to the mat to stretch, come to stretch. If you want to come to the mat to build strength, it can be that too.If you want to heal, learn self love, stretch, learn to breathe, connect to spirituality it can be all of this as well.
It is my own personal practice to love myself by meeting every single moment of self-judgment with kindness and compassion. To learn my own self worth and to acknowledge my own self worth in all my shine + all my darkness. Getting myself to a good place inside and finding inner peace is an invaluable practice and should be given a lot of space and recognition. It is the inner world that shapes the outer world and though the practice I soften and find more self love continuously. Give it a try.
Happy New Year!
I wholeheartedly believe that every day is a NEW day and an opportunity for change, but I do LOVE the fresh start of a new year.
Some of my resolutions in no particular order :
- take photos
- de-clutter my life
- eat a probiotic every day
- be a better friend
- be dedicated
- run a half marathon AGAIN with my sister
- LOVE more
- grow gently
- let everything GO
I intend on spending this year getting healthier than I have EVER been and I am well on my way! I also plan on dedicating myself to consistency and routine in my determination to live FULLY and healthfully. As a fellow teacher Erin Telford said, I want to live my life as an invitation. It’s the reverse idea of feeling like you have to “get out there”. You can just live your life in such a way that your presence magnetizes, that the way you show up is prayer and that the way you love and feel calls what will need for your next level of experience and froth to arrive gently and easily.
What are some of your resolutions?
